If you cut the bottom of your air filter out (if you have the oval, not the pods, haha), or if you have the pods, this hole will allow a better air flow. The second pic shows where I cut the plate between the air filter and the intakes. As I mentioned in my post, I used the method someone else posted of heating up a putty knife and using that to cut it out.
