I went with the better judgement of D&D Cycles (Pensacola, FL). They said that almost every bike that is brought in people have worked on have too large main jets in them. Even if you are able to get the hp at the very top end it usually hurts the main range everyone should care the most about. Lower the mains and adjust the needles for best performance

I've preached it for several years and Dale at Specialty Spares confirmed exactly what you are saying. I have SS long slash cuts, UNI filter, upper snorkel removed. DynoJet kit with 128 mains, 45 pilots turned out 3.5 turns. I am a bit rich on the top end, but still in range. 145 & 155 mains? A waste of fuel for the open road. But get a dyno done to make sure.
