In the 80s we lent $ and back loans to Chrysler. They paid us back.
In the last year we gave the old GM billions, the USA now owns the new GM along with Canada and the UAW. I'm not sure there is anything they owe us as we are equity owners. If GM doesn't make it our stock will be worhtless.
