I partly agree with you Larry. How 'bout that.

If they do like Chrysler did in the '80s and repay the money promptly they won't have the oversight.
But they knew going in (or they should have anyway) that if you take government money, you will have government oversight.
Maybe they expected more favorable treatment when they first started begging when W. was the Pres.

That's why most churches and union training centers, as well as other non-profits do not take government money. As soon as they do there's some bureaucrat telling them how to run their programs.

And the winds of politics change quite often.

Me, I hope they use it wisely, become technologically competitive and pay it back ASAP.
