I heard from a dealer that when they were waiting on the Letter of Death from GM, this one dealer was almost having a heart attack when Fed Ex stopped at their place. When the FedEx guy finally walked up to the owner, he actually had to sit down. Then he opened the envelope and it said something like "Congratulations, you have been selected to keep your dealership." Evidently the dealers did not know they would be notified either way-just if they were being terminated.
