GM ain't going nowhere.. they have too much infrastructure in place and too many people dependent upon it's success for that to happen. GM came out of bankruptcy today and is now officially the 'new' GM. They have rid themselves of over $100 billion in debt (due to the bankruptcy process), removed over 450 executives (roughly 1/3 of them), trimed down to just 4 divisions (chevy, caddy, buick and GMC), significantly cut their work force, closed down underperforming dealerships and last month their sales were actually up while every other auto makers sales were down. And if you think that taxpayers owning GM common stock entitles you to a free car, maybe you can use that trick to entice Microsoft into giving you software for free, or AT&T into giving you free long distance because you own some of their stock

Cheers,
Brad
