not true... I also own a 2007 triumph Tiger.. and can do 600 to 1000 miles days with out any pain..and not numb..and that 2 up with my wife ..

my bro in law is lucky enough to work for a triumph dealership so has the chance to ride most triumphs at some point his only comment on the thunderbird was it fast. he used to have go on a 50 mile round trip to collect tax and often took a demo bike and to start with it was the rocket that was till he tried the tiger after that never used rocket again he always used tiger recons it far mor comfy and agile better suited for riding in cities as well as having the power on main roads so when he has choice of all the demo bikes to use as he might have to do a little run somewhere it is always the tiger now
