I had my first ride today at Roadhouse Motorsports. It didn't knock my socks off but I could really get used to that bike. I also noticed the low level vibration. It only had 70 miles on it so the sales guy wouldn't let me wind it out since he took a Bonneville and went with me. The guy ran out of gas and didn't even know how switch to reserve. He said he was used to riding Victories and having fuel injection. I didn't like having to look down at the instruments but the self canceling turn signals were cool. The handlebars were different( as in a little higher and turned out more maybe) but nothing that I couldn't get used to. I'm going to ride it a few more times before I make judgement. Might even go again tommorrow.

Baby fatboy? Have you actually SEEN a fatboy?
Hmmm, let me think FATBOY.... yeah pretty sure I've seen one.
FATBOY: Wheelbase 64.5, length 92.5, weight 714 lb
Thunderbird: Wheelbase 64.6, length 92.5, weight 678
Pretty sure the bird will spank the the FATONE. What's your point?

Ooooh, a couple numbers match. They look nothing alike beyond the fact that they're both motorcycles.

Congrats on your new Bird, she's a beaut.

I see you got a few accessories also, BlueNose. Sweet! It's a nice bike.

I rode a T-Bird today at the Victory dealer and it is a very nice bike. The ride was alot smoother than my old America was and it sure has alot of power. The handle bars would take some getting used to and it sure does need some different exhaust but other than that it was sure fun to ride!

rode one today - not my cup of tea.
The power was impressive - startling even and the belt drive was a treat. The ergonomics were ok. The fit and finish seemed very good.
but... I couldn't see the speedo without a conscious effort and the tach was just not usable. The tank shape left me cold. The engine just didn't look right to me - fins I guess.
no accounting for taste I guess.

Still cracks me up that people are complaining about the lack of cooling fins on a watercooled motor (yeah yeah I know it's a style thing).
