I will be test riding the Thunderbird at 9am on Saturday. Seen the bike this evening at the official launch - black, short tors which looked and sounded the mutts nuts (must confess I rev her up some - just had too).
I ride for 1 hour (test rides are fully booked for the weekend and I'm first out) and will report back with an unofficial ba.com test ride report.
As for the launch it is worth noting that 2 tone silver and black is breathtaking, front needs auxiliary lamps to finish off the styling, build quality looks outstanding, radiator only downside on looks and for some reason is exagerated on the 2 tone silver (like it doesn't belong). Was given their press pack which states Cycle World declared the Thunderbird best cruiser in its class.
Well I will be comparing it to our very own tba and will let you know - only problem is the weather is not so good - RAIN and lots of it.
