Has anyone tried relocating a mini speedo into the console? Who sells a speedo that will work?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Dakota digital, doesn't require a spacer because it's electronic. J&P Cycles sells traditional cable driven speedos but I believe you have to make a spacer so the cable will not get bent. Look at my gallery for Mark Case's bike (I can't link directly to it because I can't get to http://picasaweb.google.com/friarjohn/CoolBikes from my office because of the firewall).

Yo man...yea...just got her running yesterday. Had a loose ground wire. Parked it and just started playing with it the other day and found the short. Started right up.

replacing th brick stock speedo with a mini version proved to be a bit of a challenge...first wanted to fit in console but flagged that idea as felt it was too far out from line of sight of road..wanted analogue as believe digi was not in keeping with style of bike...many mini speedos to be had with th likes of Drag Specialties etc but all in mph...in our case in Oz, finding sumin in Kmh with th right drive ratio was a lil more difficult...ended up sourcing a nice lil unit outa Germany that now resides on th bars between th risers...

What's the make of that new speedo of yours? Might need a different speedo for my bike because the stock one doesn't work right.
Live to love, love to live.

I've got one of these but I haven't installed it yet. I need to order up a new wiring harness for it. http://veypor.comNow that they have the dash kit available with the billet cover and indicator lights built in, I feel better about shaving my dash.

I dunno... my T100 speedo and Deputy Michael S. Ray's radar gun were pretty much a $140 dead on match

He wrote it for 66 in a 55. This was a major gift on the part of the young deputy since I thought the speed limit was still 65 and was running a good bit over that.
