The rubber on the sides of the Triumph sprockets is supposed to reduce vibration from the chain, but most people can't tell the difference. Personally, I've been using a non Triumph 18T for years and would like to try a Triumph 18T and see if I could tell the difference. Only trouble is they cost about twice as much.
