another thing is to see what the piston is marked, if it is already 60 or more over look for used (or new) cyl. I know it is possible to go farther but I was never comfortable with it.

Like everyone else has said, if you can get away with a quick hone and re-ring that's what you do or of a bore is needed go the minimum you need.
