Al, I feel the same way, but, have found some relief of late. I recommend you get yourself a harmonica. It's worked wonders for me since I grabbed my first one in November of last year. Nah, I ain't no musician - But I'm makin musical noise these days. I now own 4 of the things. There's lots of music on the internet. You don't have to read music - nearly all is available in tabular form. Mostly, I don't even use the stuff any more. The most enjoyment I get is tuning into the local NPR station on blues night and just trying to ape the music. Sometimes, when things click and the mouth and ears are working together, I'm actually making sounds that blend with the music being played. I strongly recommend one of these babies for anyone who wished they could and haven't.
