I just that I think a lot of people have lost the meaning and importance of the day by calling it the 4th of July rather than Independence Day. I wonder how many people think about what and why the Revolutionary War was really about, or if they even think about the 4th of July as Independence Day. I especially wonder if people think about how the British government was treating the colonists at the time that the colonists became so sick and tired of the opression, taxes and government control over their lives that they decided to finally do something about it.
