They are leather. Discoloration and cracking are the only things that can go wrong. They will say that is normal wear so not warranted.

Stitching failure which is unlikely can be fixed cheaply in your home town. I guess what I am saying is what are the odds you would ever send them back?

Come to think about it, I don't know of anybody that has ever had to send a set a bags back for a wear issue after installation.
