Can somebody translate? That part of my brain that translates Dwightish has obviously turned to mush. I mean, I know Dwight can't stand it when someone disagrees with him, and everything has to be about him. But yo no comprende.

Well okay, John...I'll translate that for ya then..... I was sayin' that maybe YOUR opinion about the comic strip that Moe posted was maybe right and that it WASN'T all that funny or clever!(i.e. "the low hanging fruit" reference) And soooooooo, I guess I was kind'a sayin' in a self-deprecating manner that after further review maybe I kind of agreed with YOUR opinion, WHICH of course YOU volunteered on this thread because I'm assumin' YOU kind'a wanted YOUR personal opinion about that comic strip heard, WHICH of course wouldn't draw any attention to YOU or YOUR personal opinion here at all, huh?! (I sure hope that cleared it all up for ya there, ol' buddy)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I don't recall questioning your mental faculties by simply stating why I didn't like it and therefore indicating my disagreement. I didn't say, "I hate it and anyone who likes it is addled with old age." Nor did I say, "I hate it and I don't want to hear why you disagree with me, you just have to sit there and take it." So naturally I had to mess with you a little and I got the expected response, although perhaps a bit more obtuse than usual.

Why John, please allow me to alay any concerns you may harbor that I found your objections to my appreciation of Moe's comic strip about Billy Mays untimely demise in any way offensive. That was the furthest thing on my mind, young sir. You see, it was I, and I alone, who brought up the issue of my possibly being "addled with old age"(a distinct possiblity to be sure, BTW), and it was only meant as a joke at my expense. (yep...I sincerely hope that any misunderstanding about this matter will not change what I feel has been the overwhelming positive dynamics of any relationship we may have formed during these past few years)
