My vote is 3/4 helmet. I rode with a 1/2 helmet for several years, than bought a Scorpion EXO-200. I gave away the 1/2 helmet, it felt like a bobblehead and I like the lack of windnoise. These style have the option of a full shield for cooler weather. And of course they are much safer.
