It sounds like it is time to contact Peter Carleo at Triumph HQ. He was pretty helpful in the past with similar problems. As much as you like your dealer, it might be time to let someone else take a crack at it (before you throw in the towel). Here's info from a local RAT thread from '07 that dealt with a problem at Clinton (MD). At the time, Clinton was the RAT sponsor but they eventually went independant, due to these type of issues. Thats two years ago, but I wouldn't go in Clinton's direction.

hey shaun. i was going to post my nightmare of an experience with clinton as a response to your post but i don't want to hear anyone try and defend that place. they had my bike 8 weeks to repair a factory defect(my head was not aligned on my '04 bonneville when it was built). i'll spare you the details but i went around and around with them. the only way to get results is to get someone to light a fire under their asses.

peter carleo is the guy at triumph HQ in the states that deals with customer service. his phone number is 678/854.2010. he was a great help to me when my bike was at clinton. he helped me sort through their ******.

as far as recommending a better dealer, i can't. i bought my bike at the winchester dealer and they have not done anything right. the last time they replaced a seal on the bike the guy forgot to retighten a bolt that controlled my clutch. i have heard good things about pete's in b-more although i've never been there. a friend of mine bought his america there and got excellent service after he bribed the mechanic with a bottle of southern comfort.

Well, it did it again. Crusing down the highway and just Died. Same thing as all the other times "like hitting the kill switch". Only thing this time it didn't fire back up again... just solid dead. Called the dealer and he came and picked it up from the side of the road (a LONG trip for him... but he's that kind of stand up guy). Said not to worry they would fix it (again). He is as frustrated as I am with it.

I swear boys, as much as I love my bike I'm absolutely at the end of my rope with it.
