thanks guys, they are all great suggestions. For the record, I already have summer gloves and just need a pair of winter ones as well. Also for some reason I'm not a real fan of wearing inner gloves and I did look into electric ones too but they appeard would be a nuisance trying to put them on. They all sound like a good ideas but for me I would just prefer a good pair of winter gloves that hopefully stayed dry when it rained.

So I'm now going to pm mountain man about his suggestion cos those deer skin gloves look pretty good for the money.
