Using a mobile (cellphone) while driving has been illegal in Oz for several years - handsfree is legal. It hasn't really done anything to deter the idiots. You still see at least 1 in 50 drivers on the phone (a very conservative estimate). I wish the jammers were legal here.
My 'other' peeve is drivers with insecure loads. I ride past a city dump every day and there is ALWAYS junk on the road that's fallen from trailers and trucks. The morons don't realize that their carelessness can easily kill. I'd kill too but it would be intentional.
