You are right Dwight. 5% of the time you may need more power than a Speedmaster. BUT!! 2% of the time the T-brd will not have enough power. Then there is that .005% that the Boss Hoss leaves you wanting more HP> I heard at testing a R1 went past a T-brd so fast it scared the fins right off of it.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

It fills a niche that Triumph didn't have a bike for and if the initial interest is any indication, they are going to sell a ton of em. And I heard an R-3 streaked by the R-1 and blew the Ya right off the Yamaha and now it's just a maha.

Although I dislike the Thunderglide for a number of reasons, I am almost certain they will sell more than 3 of them.

I live in MA and go to Laconia bike week every year. I hang with Harley guys and happened to be on my Fatboy this year. I was amazed at how many Triumphs I saw up there this year. Most of the guys I was with commented on the increased Triumph presence. There were Sprints, Bonnies, Rockets, and old Meridan models. Any machine that can further Triumph's market share is good for all of us.
