Yep! My step daughter gave birth to my first Grand child today! Little Aubrey Anna 6 lbs. and some odd oz's. Mom and Aubrey are doing fine. I'm so wanting to see and hold her but can't right now as they My step daughter and son in law is serving our country in the Army and is way out of state from us! I bet she (Aubry Anna) is sure enough a pretty little critter that needs her pawpaw to hold her what ya think?

My first grandson is 8 weeks old. Got to see him when he was a week old (went to Conroe Tex). Everyone tells me grandchildren are a lot more fun than your own kids.

Congratulations old man. My first grandchild is now 6 months old. Unfortunately she lives 400 miles away from me but I've seen her a few times. Feels good don't it?

Congrats, Terry. It only gets more fun, the more you get. I've got 9 of em, includes 3 motocross racers and a hockey goalie. The fun really begins when you can start teaching them all the things you know that just drives your daughter nuts

Thanks for the well wishes guy's I'm pretty stoked about getting to see her! I alway's heard you should have the grand children first cause they'er more fun!  I'll have her ride'in a dirt bike in a few years

i remember, the first time my first grandchild was handed to me, thinking to myself "OH NOW I GET IT" the thing is that, your children have those days when they dont want you to come home from work cuase they know they are in trouble or them times when you are just mean and they hate you, or them days when you wont get them what they want and they hate you, but GRANDCHILDREN??? they LOVE you!!!!! every time i show up at my sons house the sound of them running out yelling GRANPA or as the the youngest now sez "gampa" is like nothing else since my youngest thought i was the greatest human on the planet. the 2 older ones love to ride the baby thinks "to loud gampa" but the middle one is a hog for it, she will call me and remind me just how long its been since we went for a ride hahahahaha i miss the 2 i have a thousand mile away but when i do see them its just the same, they look forward to seeing Grandpa. and that is the differance between children and grandchildren. soooo congrats my friend and welcome to the club!!!
