So, someone just took this bigass gear and chucked it in the rubbish? Considering there hasn't been any heavy industry in the US since the MBA's took over, it has to have some historic significance.

Eeh! Those two "agricultural" motorcycle brands, Harley-Davidson AND Moto Guzzi, have been usin' flywheels just like THAT inside their V-Twins for YEARS now, and I hear they haven't had any problems at all!!!
