I am installing my new roadster screen for my 04 speedmaster and have noticed that it is very hard to get the two upper brackets onto the screen. I have to bend the screen to get them close and Im afraid Im going to break it. Any suggestions before I go out of my mind? Thanks

Yeah... I had a bit of trouble getting my Roadster mounted. It really helps to get some help from a buddy for this. You can bend the screen around without fear of breaking it as long as you don't overdo it... it's fairly malleable.
Basically push, bend and grunt until you get things to line up. Your helper can hold things in place while you get the fasteners on.
Live to love, love to live.

I would attach the upper mounts to the bike first then to the screen next. Attach the lower mounts last. I bent my lower ones a bit to make things fit. There was no need to bend or push my screen into place.

Mine fit without any effort. I attached the upper ones first, and left all the bolts & screws loose till I had the screen in place. That way the screen aligns the brackets the way they need to be, rather than twisting the screen to where you think the brackets should be.

When first mounting, don't tighten any of the bracket mounts more than you can slightly move them. Fit the windshield to the brackets and slightly move the brackets to get the shield straight. Then, find a way to tighten the brackets in that position.
