ya, otherwise the led's won't even turn on. On any other system, it ususally doesn't matter if the postive was on the right side or not as long as it was grounded. There has to be someone who has a whole led system that works. I'm thinkin it is something simple but i don't want to but all the wrong parts before I find the right one.
