Looks like BikerThug's old Speedie before the wreck. I think (but I'm not certain) that they're Specialty Spares.

I'm pretty sure you're right about the bike, that's his video.

WOW I am new to the forum, and i am about to buy a speedmaster '09. Was he ok? His bike was the best example of aftermarket exhaust on a speedmaster that i could find. I love the way it sounds in the video.

Mark (bikerthug)purchased a BMW and has not posted in sometime. You might drop him a PM, it's possible he's still reading the forum.

It's not speeding till you get pulled over.

I believe those are BUB dresserdogs. I had emailed Bikerthug about a yr ago after seeing the pic of his speedie to inquire about the pipes on it. He sent me a pic(which for some reason I cannot pull up now) and later told me he was sellin parts off his bike he had wrecked and gotten a Beemer if I remember correctly. The dresserdogs were for a harley he fitted to the Speedie and had been discontinued by BUB, if I remember correctly. Have been on the lookout for some dresserdogs since.

You should send Mark a postcard and ask him directly:
Mark Odekirk
19603 - 85th ave E.
Spanaway, WA. 98387

Mike's correct, Mark hurt his back when he hit the dog that trashed his Speedie and got a Beemer for the mid-peg body support. One other thing to remember, Mark had a hot-rodded 904 kit on that bike as well and everybody knows how that changes the tone. Part of that Speedie lives on in my ride...

Yes, they are. Bub only made them for a couple of years specific for our bikes. I have a set hanging on the shop wall since buying the T-bike pipes. Might change back some day...

Yes Jukka. they do. I've tried Raask, Bub and Thunderbike and really prefer the T:s.

I thought that clip looked familiar. I bought my Staintunes from Mark. At one point in time, he had sent me a link to that post on youtube. The Bubs in that clip were what he had on the bike before he put on the Staintunes. That was a sweet bike....

I like the gutted stock pipes the most too. They sound as good or better than the ones in this video.

I am not into super loud pipes, but would really like the deep throaty growl. my dealer said they could probably upgrade the pipes to the tors pipes. im wondering if i should push for something else though. I hope to be getting mine by the end of next month if all goes well so i am trying to make my mind up so i get exactly what i want. At 8600.00 it needs to be everything i wanted.

unless you are near Hermy's in Pa I doubt the dealer will put anything except the TORs on for you as part of the deal.
