These rear shocks are sucky. The rest of the bike is great. 6 days of ownership! Woo Hoo! I want to change them out asap.
I weigh 195lbs. Sometimes I'll ride with a passenger. Should I just get the Progressive 440's? I see they have 412's which are cheaper.
Where's the best place to get the 440's?
Many Thanks, Sean

I got the 412 Heavy Duty and they are pretty nice, really smooth when 2-up

For me, Progressive 418's, HD option, nice solo and 2-up, selectable for both damping and preload. Progressive front springs too.

The 418's should be really nice too, I just like the look of the 412's myself. I really wish I could have gotten 1" lower in HD. Definitely upgrade the fork springs.

+1 for the 412 HD's; arguably the best bang for the buck.

I run 440s on my bike and Karens bike. I got lucky tho...I got both sets off members here at great prices. Now that Ive ridden on em Id buy em new next time but I cant say the price wouldnt sting.
I had 412s but they were lowered. The HD 412s may have been better but IM fat so I really needed the 440s.
I guess Im saying...412s HD for you, unless your pillion passenger is a bigger gal (or guy) then go 440s.
