Just for grins and giggles I checked with the Honda dealer about parts availability on Gl 1000'S and the labor for rebuilding the carbs.. $175 per carb plus the price of 4 kits (which they don't sell and can't get)

You shoulda seen the blank look on the parts kid's face when I asked him about "points". I started trying to explain but said "go ask your dad". The mechanic said It was a "lost cause" "don't even waste your time".
