pull carbs and degunk by soaking in carb cleaner. Replace all rubber gaskets, boots and such, new tires most likely too, drain gas tank, use one of the cleaning solutions for the tank and get it nice and cleaned out. New Gas lines, maybe new cables, new brake fluid, new oil and filter, new air filter, battery....
Actually sounds like fun. A friend has the same bike and loves his, with over 220k miles on it now.
Best thing it has going for it is that It's a honda, It will probably start with the first push of the button after you get it all ready to try. I had an 82 Honda 900 custom that I traded away (don't know why I ever did that) and ended up buying it back from the guy 4 years later after it just sat in his yard the entire time in all sorts of bad weather. I cleaned the fuels system up and rode it home after about a half hour of work. But had to rip the carbs all apart when I got it home. So even gunked up old Honda carbs will get you home. Worst part was that the custom Corbin seat I had made was trashed.
Good luck, keep us posted on this.
