16 hours from Sitka to Ft. Liquordale yesterday... ugh.

Recovered last night with generous portions of adult beverages AND I have today off! I will post a few of the best pics later....

Greg, after the first night we had to cover the windows with a blanket so we could sleep. The non-stop sun was eerie at best and I never got used to it. 9:30-10pm Alaska time and the sun in 'just going down'? Having such a short time up there I also never acclimated and made the best of it but was very tired by 9pm their time.

Dog, I can only imagine your Dad is having a wonderful time! If he was there this past week, we had days where it was NOT raining and actually saw the friggin sun! On our travels we saw islands that had permanent homes where there was no power or water. I cannot imagine how tough their lives are but can understand why they were there.

I was lucky that my BIL took me out fishing twice in the week and although it was cold (I borrowed stuff from other people there), I had an excellent week.
