I am just over 20,000 miles and had to adjust the chain twice this season, so I think it's almost time to replace the chain. I have never done this before and I am kinda cheap. I am wondering what experiences you have had with purchasing and dealer help. I like to do my own work, but was researching prices for the chain tool, they seem to be about $100. Has anyone had luck negotiating the install with their dealer, or should I buy a master link and do this myself. Do I need a tool for a master link too? Thanks for any advise
