As Marko describes, it's pretty easy to made a handlebar adjustment, just don't let those bars drop onto your tank!
I moved my bars up about 1" which made an impressive comfort gain. I'm 5'11" and moving the bars up made me sit more upright which made my back more comfortable on long rides.
