I've got the time off so I will be making this rally this year. One L hoodie for me, please. Are there going to be patches as well? You know I can't go to a rally without getting a patch What are the rooms like? Do I need to make a reservation or does someone need a roommate to split the cost of their room? I'll be leaving here Wed afternoon and should be arriving in Eureka Springs late Thursday night or early Friday afternoon. When I leave on Sunday I'll going to do a loop where I can hit MO, KS, OK, TX, and LA as I head home.

Wooo hoo! Way to go Greg. Glad to have you! I've got you down for a L hoodie. There may be some that need a roommate, you all need to speak up if you do. The rooms are small but decorated with vintage biker pictures. They only have about 3 rooms that are Queen beds so you better call Anne at the www.Ridersrestmotel.com just to make sure. You could cancel a couple of days before the Rally if you needed to. (479) 253-9815.
About those patches. I got a design from Biker and if I can figure out how to order them I will.

Aww Scottie, you can ride my old Scrambler if you want. It may not go very fast or very far though.

This place is across the street from the rider's rest. And I read somewhere that rider's rest now has tent sites.

Riders Rest doesn't want campers anymore, the sites were used before but not any longer. Anne did tell me that one or two campers would be okay, but no more than that. I guess it's all in how they feel that day.

JC Bullen ?
Roadworthy 1 XL
THensley 1 Lg 1 Med

Well, this is really turning out weird. A couple of big paying jobs cancelled or delayed, so now I'm not sure of the money. But, now my middle boy is trying to get time off to come, and he'll ride my BA if he comes. I guess I'll have to rob a gas station on my way down (again) to pay for this trip. Or, plan B, unleash my boy on you fella's to rob ya when we get there. (Thats my BIG middle boy, 240 and 6 ft. plus) SOMEBODY'S gonna have to pay for this trip!

No problem Damien but check out the Kettle Campground that Moe and Rudy stayed at last year. www.kettlecampground.com. It says the rate for a single tent site is ony $14 per day and someone would probably let you use a shower over at the Riders Rest. We would like to have you both days, but whatever works for you.

Well Rich I will probably have some cash on me from the hoodies, but then I would have to bring my 6' 205lb son to protect me. They called him the "Bruiser" when he was born.

Hah! I'll call your "bruiser", and raise you one little cousin, who is probably gonna ride down on the back of my other bike. He's only 100 pds. or so, but he packs a mean kick to the groin. I'll call him, "crusher". Now, I'm actually considering tossing the room at the Rider's Rest and going across the street for camping, to save money. I just hate to do that cause of all the extra gear ya have to pack. And where the heck would I put that middle boy in my little ole tent? Anybody else definately camping?

Yeah if you could get several people to camp over there the rates go down to $10 per night. Majorruddell (Rudy) usually camps but I haven't heard a peep from him. And maybe we could talk Damien in to staying. Majorruddell doesn't post much and is still a greenhorn. You hear that Rudy turn your dang computer on once and while.

I called the Patch place Biker gave me and for 12 patches the cost would be $8.96 per piece. Anyone want to pay that for a patch....? I didn't think so. If we ever get to the point where we have 25 or more folks, I'll try again. Biker said he paid around $100 for 50 patches. I guess we could get 50 and give them away to all our friends but each person would have to buy around 8 patches.

Ok, I'm new around here. The reason I'm on here is cause I meet Dunnspeed and Livinginh (plus a few others) in Iowa when they where up in the Galena area this summer.
I was told about this little rally. Well I'm thinking I just might be able to swing on down.
Just wonder if there is any rooms left or if I need to bring camping gear? If I have to camp, just how cold does it get at night?

I'm not sure there are any rooms left or not. You might give Anne a shout at the Riders Rest. (479) 253-9815. It does get a little nippy at night in October.

Thanks Pes, I give them a call.

And Roadworthly if they do have that room left, I'm not sharing and you'll be so jealous.

Sorry, I stopped by and reserved the last room Thursday but have not been back on here since then. Had intended to pass that along. There are a number of places to stay very close by the Riders Rest.
