Eeeew. This is not the BrokeBack Mt. Rally, even though Eureka Springs is known to be "alternative lifestyle" friendly.

What size shirt do you wear Rick?

Damien, a couple of folks camped last year. Roadworthy said they may open up camping at the site just for us, so you can save money that way and also food is always a way to cut costs. You could cut my orignal quote easily by half or less. And if anyone is really hurting financially, I can work something out with you on the hoodies. I had extra shirts last year. Heck I even mailed one to Yota for his X-mas present and he didn't even show. Sorry Yota that cats out of the bag. Believe me, I've been there and know what it is to be broke. I almost had to sell my TBA the first couple years I owned it because of finances. The point to all this early morning rambling ( ) is... you only live once, best grab the fun while you can.

Come on JR, it's only 9 hours or so from your house. You could catch up with us Friday night for dinner and happy hour around the bond fire. You could do 9 hours with one hand tied behind your back, although it might be tough to get out of 1st gear.

Yota's EMT training is on Friday night. I thought it was Thursday. That would be pushing it a bit for just a weekend rally. Of course there's always Amphetamines.

I talked with Vince at inked custom printing about the hoodies. He said for Dk. heather gray S-XL it would cost $16.00 and the big guys take a hit. XXL will be $21 and that's his cost. (don't ask me where he makes his money) If you are XXXL-5X then the only colors available are White, Dk. Blue and Black. Oh yeah I did ask him how much to put your user name on the sleeve or someplace and he said it would $3 extra per shirt. If you guys are okay with the heather gray, I am going with that. You can start sending me money if you know for sure you are going. I have to put half down before he orders the shirts. Just PM me. Thanks.

Okay, I'm in for Friday and Saturday. Might be bringing my 11 year old cousin, his first rally. He's a good little dude, but I'm a little worried if his rear can take that long a ride. He didn't inherit the familiy's "iron butte". And put me down for two hoodies, one large, one small.

Are you cereal? If you want to send me $21 plus shipping no problem. The way it stands now I am probably going to have to ship the whole lot to the motel because of the bulk of the hoodie. I barely fit all the T's on the bike last year.

Just Hoodies. I need to know as soon as possible, at the latest 9/15 because that is when I order the shirts and put half the money down. I am going to try and get him to do the shirts the way the Fast Eddy Midwest Rally shirt is (see: Noreast Rally t-shirts thread) and will maybe go with Dk. blue since the logo shows up better.

Anybody got any idea where they want go to this year for the rides? How about for day 1 down Ar 23 take a left at 16 to Fallsville then up 21 to Swain then straight up to the Buffalo river valley? Then we could either continue on 21 back to Eureka or take right on 74 to Jasper then straight up 7 again to Harrison like last year. (can you tell I brought an Ark. map to work today. )

How about this year if we go by one of those nice scenic overlooks we pull over and check it out? We went by a couple nice ones last year and just rode on by...

Good idea! We need to get some "scenery with bikers" pictures. We just can't put Donny or JC up front or they'll have us to Tennessee by the end of the day.

Well, I'm pretty sure that I am going to ride the old Trumpet this year, and I never push it very hard. I'm gonna let you peg scrapers have your fun, and I'm gonna be waaaay in the back, idling along and stopping for pictures. And I can guarantee you, if I see a group of English cars stopped at a lookout, like last year, I'm gonna be real late for lunch. If anybody wants to poke along with me, feel free.

Sad thing, if it keeps up this weather pattern, we may have to put tire chains on and break out the winter jackets. Not so sure about this 47 degree morning at the first of September, was a chilly ride to work today.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried about the weather also. I just aint got the gonads for real cold riding anymore, even when the company is this fun. I guess we'll just have to play it by ear. By the way, yesterdays paper said that this was the coldest July since 1892!

I spoke with Anne this morning, and the no camping rule still applies. She did tell me that I could camp there, but she doesn't want more than one or two people doing it.
