I definitely do not need to swing as far north as Rome. I was thinking blowing out the Mass pike into NY then it looks like I could grab 396 at Beckers Corners right above Selkirk. Go 396 to 301 to 443 to 30 to 20. What is 20 like? It shoots right across NY. Getting out of work at 12:00 Friday so I'll be on the road by 1:00.
Route 20 is sort of slow going with all the little towns and lights but it has some decent scenery...see you soon

I had a wicked good time at the Rally and the chance to spend some time getting to know some great guys on this forum...Thanks to Unclecharlie and Matt for the tech day in the woods with my Thruxton and Tiger..I sure appreciated the help with the new parts and throttle adjustment...A big thank you to Ed for the organizational skill he has and the preparation he put into making this an enjoyable time..I was quite surprised at how much he personally put into this weekend....and to the loyal Triumph riders who drove a good distance to spend the weekend with us locals...glad you had an awesome day to ride home..That was a fun Rally in the woods....
