Hey Moe! The Daytona is still being my "problem child." As long as it's accellerating, the bike is happy and runs crazy strong. But, at some point, I have to level off the throttle and that's when the issues start. It's definitely in the lower 1/4 of the throttle range...it's just sluggish and the exhaust note sounds bad at steady speeds, kind of like it's breaking up or sputtering. Also have noticed that as I start twisting the throttle, nothing really happens and then all of a sudden the rpm's take off. Makes hill starts pretty fun. I haven't been able to find anything mechanically wrong with the bike; now need to decide whether it's off to the dealer for a check into the computer settings and update the map, or if I drop a few hundred dollars for a Tune Boy and start playing with it. I've talked to the dealer about it, and will probably get it up there in the next few weeks. Or, just park it for the summer and ride it again when the weather turns cold.

I didn't have any issues with the riser bolts or nuts when I removed them. I was a little surprised at how easy mine came off when I broke them loose.

As far as shocks, I know I've read a lot of people on here don't like the stock shocks on our bikes. I may just not know any better, but the ride w/ stock shocks is fine with me. I also don't do any two-up riding either, which I imagine makes a big difference.

Ride safe out there,

Will
