The spacers are 1 1/4 inches, and stock cables and wires still work fine. They come with a longer bolt and a new nut; basically plug & play.
After re-reading my initial post, I realized it might sound like I was complaining about the fit. Actually, I'm happy with the fit and think I'm going to like these on the bike (still haven't had the chance to ride w/ them yet). I was just pointing out that the shape of the spacers and the risers are not quite a perfect match (at least on my bike).
