I have the origional battery. 4 yrs old. No probs yet. In winter storage I charge once a mo with a tender for a few days. (limited outlets in bsmt.)
Any idea on how soon I should think about a replacement before I find my self desperately trying to catch it in gear to start.
Thanks

I got scared after 5 1/2 years and bought a new one.
Didn't want to get stranded.
Kept on a Battery Tender during winter months.

Anything from 3 to 6 years. I just replaced mine after 5 years of good service.
If they are like the earlier versions, avoid the yumicron battery. I had one that was working just fine untill I went on a 2 week vacation. When I came back, it was sulfated beyond any chance of recovery.
