I'm looking for someone who uses these and can tell me what jets to use. I'm trying save some grief and would like to re jet only once. The calculator gives 154 using straight k&n pods but doesn't give the option with the turnouts. Anyone help? I had turnouts on my bike, EFI so I can't help with jets.
The problem I came across while on the dyno is that I was losing Hp at high revs with the turn outs on.
Whether it has anything to do with turbulance, I don't know.I do notice the difference under normal riding conditions, appears to be smoother without turnouts.
They look the part, so I put them on when the bike is going in a show.

What it can't reach it spits at.

I have them on my bike and I am running 157 mains, and that was only because the local dealer didnt have any 154's in stock, I am also at 5000 feet in elevation. It runs a bit rich here, but when I go closer to sea level it leans up a bit, so I just leave it the way it is.....

Hmmm... I can't help wondering if you get any "ram-effect" at all with the k&n's and their metal plate blocking the flow. However, it looks cool. That's for sure!
