And that there is a prime example of why I could never be a cop. I could never write someone a ticket for doing something I would do.

I just have no clue what that was about. The guy got a ticket, somebody else filmed it and posted it and made up dialog? What's the point?

Got my first speeding ticket last week on my bike. Exceeding the posted limit in a 25 MPH residential area. The cop also said I didn't stop at the previous stop sign because I didn't put my feet down. He gave me a warning on that. He said I was doing more than 10 mph above the limit but would only write it for the lower offense. I was in an unfamiliar area that was going between 35 and 25 posted. I actually thought I was still in a 35 mph area. I guess it could have been worse.

What? Is that a law written somewhere? I don't know about you but I can make a COMPLETE stop without putting my feet down at stop signs. That Bullsh*t.

According to the cop, at least in Florida, you are required to come to a complete stop and put your foot down. How come car drivers don't have to stop and put their foot on the ground?

Yea, thats rough. I try and practice the "Ride like a pro" stop & go technique at 3 & 4 way stops when no ones around. If I know there's a cop around, when I'm definitly putting the ole Flip-Flop down! But of course, who's not gonna be a model rider when a cops around, hoping he'll ignore those dang pipes.

Yeah, it IS bullsh1t. I read somewhere (here?) that TX has the same law. Just another example of morons at work. I despise 'em all.
