Anyone found any chrome pieces that will cover these ugly exhaust clamps?

A few years ago I changed mine to the chrome ones available from Triumph. They look considerably better than the originals.

Do you mean chrome clamps? I've never seen anything like that on the Triumph site. Do you have a part number?

Sorry, I looked thru old receipts but could not find the one listing the clamp purchase. They were an available Triumph part a few years ago. I was looking at some of the old sales propaganda from 2003 that I had kept and some of the Speedmaster pictures in the sales books show the chrome clamps on the bike.

You could always just buy those nice stainless barrel style clamps.

I was looking at the J&P cycles catalog today and they have tons of chrome clamps. Wonder if any would work on our bikes?

Triumph finally addressed this, if not for '08, than new for '09. The heat shield on the stock pipes now comes forward enough to cover them. I found out the difference when I got my pipes from chevy605. I got a older pair, which left the clamps exposed. He sent me a nice pair of stainless clamps, as he had no chrome ones left. They look fine, and the look doesn't bother me.

What barrel clamps do you speak of? I am having trouble search for these. Is this a Triumph part?
