OK, I know that there are a few out there that have had issues with the TPS sending a crap signal and causing premature engine shutdown at under redline.... My 03 speedy started shutting down at redline instead of just dropping a cylinder and then the engine started cutting out intermittently about 7000 RPM.... Well, disconnected the TPS today and the bike seems to have more power than it has ever had since I bought it last June.. Just wondered if everyone that has disconnected their TPS has left it unhooked, or eventually replaced it..... Is there any issue with leaving it disconnected? I kind of assume that there is not an issue since if you get flat slides or other aftermarket carbs, you dont have one to hook up....
