Ryan, I could afford a Hardley, I just couldn't afford the trailer to ride it on. We haven't made reservations yet, but my bride will do that in the next couple days.

Well bad news. My nephews first communion is that weekend so I have to cancel. A year of waiting flushed down the toilet with one two minute phone call. ARG!
John, I was looking forward to seeing you again and showing off my new fender bib. But, you are right family first. I'll see you and Ron at Pat's in the fall. Take care.

Now that is FUNNY! I have seen some Hardley trailers at Bike Week that cost more than my house.

Cool Pete, I think everyone's ready, now if the spring would just come haha. I'm getting REALLY edgy, esp. after all the snow we got this weekend--about 15 inches over the course of three days...I know that's not much for all you Northerners, but it hasn't snowed that much here in over a decade.

26 inches in Central Park!! That's a lot... It's looking more and more like I won't be moving or changing jobs this spring, so I'll probably be booking a room or lookin for a roommie soon. I've had the vacation days blocked off for months now

Hi Chy and all listening on this thread. New TBA owner here and thinking of joining your bunch in GA. Wife won't go unless I change the stock pillion. Sounds like I will be investing in a Corbin? That trip to GA is about 10 hours from Indy, haven't worked out all the details but maybe I can hook up with Airguy as he comes through here from Chicagoland. I'll keep lurking around this sight and will definetly take up Ryans offer and save some green. keep the rubber side down guys and gals. This will be my first longggggggg trip since 1989!!! Sounds like YA'LL southern boys have a good time planned, hope I can work out the details! (You know vacation and wife's seat) Steve_sixmil

Steve,
BigJack is another member from Indiana that came down last year and is probably gearing up to come down this year. You might want to give him a holler as well.

I don't believe you guys let this thread slide to the second page... ya'll need to tighten up! Well I made the trip down to Newnan today to try a couple of different routes.. man it poured rain all day... I was in the car of course. While I was down there I checked out a place called Coweta Custom Cycles.. they are the local Triumph dealer and only a stones throw from TMA. They have a nice place there, lots o' Triumphs, shiney stuff and leather.. hey! my kinda place. Met some really nice folks, Rebecca (rides a Speed4) the phone answerer, parts person and goodwill ambassador.. and the GM Brad Keith. Heckuvva nice guy, offered me a test ride on a Scrambler.. too bad it was pouring rain. I told him we'd be making the trek down this year and he said he love to have us stop by while we were in the area.... he obviously doesn't know this bunch too well. He had three (3) Rocket 3's on the floor for all you fans and I got to get up close and personal with the pewter and silver America. Great looking bike... They have a nicely organized web page and are offering 20% off all Triumph parts and accessories ordered thru their site. Sweet deals man, check them out. Only 67 more days till rally time so start getting those bikes serviced and ready to ride. Till then

So, I went online today to book my room at the Econolodge via Ryan's link. It said there were no rooms available, so, I tried without the discount and got the same response. So I called the Econolodge and asked about the dates. The manager said he would have to get back with me on Monday because a big party had booked out a lot of rooms and were going to confirm numbers by then. "What group ?" I asked... "the army group ", he answered, " are you with them?" I said no and he told me to call back on Monday for room availability. I called Chy and bugged him on his lunch break, if they get a chance he or Di will look into it. I just don't want to end up doing push ups, half drunk because Dinqua woke up some drill sargeant with his farting antics and strange uses of RTV, can I get an amen, brothers.... ride safe... Gordon

I got the same thing for the motel too Gordon. What's up with that eh? Maybe we'll be staying at the Raj Mahal after all? There's at least three of us coming from NY (The '06 Yankee Invasion), probably four if Jane decides she's coming too. Hopefully Chy can get this sorted out for us.

The "Raj Mahal" is otherwise known as the Days Inn.. it and other accomodations can be found on the first page of this thread through the " Dahlonega " link.

Yeah man.. plenty of room. the weather in May should be quite warm with low 60's to upper 50's at night. Can't promise no rain though. I kinda doubt everything being booked, there are 5 motels in Dahlonega alone, dozens of cabins and several B&B's. Check the link for other options link
