Substantiation? I don't automatically believe everything I see on the intarweb (unless I read it on this site, of course).
I hate to tell you this, but you already have no privacy unless you're completely off the grid (and even then there's no guarantee). Welcome to the information age. The good news is that you're just a number to be sold more crap to, and unless you do something to stand out, nothing will likely happen. I always love the conceit of the paranoid, that they're so special that out of hundreds of millions of people, the government is watching them specifically. I blame that stupid movie "Eagle Eye."
