Gorgeous.

Oooh, and they're after a name for it, too.

Good looking bike. How do you know they're looking for a name?

That's a very cool machine, definately looks like something I would ride.
As for JAP they made bikes a very long time ago and even more common were their engines. Many old bikes back in the day used the JAP engine in their own frame.

I looked at the list of names they have to vote for, I picked one from the past that used to strike fear into enemies:
LONGBOW

Steelheart- '03 Speedmaster Black/Yellow The Hayabusa Killa 16" Shorties/140 mains/Airbox drilled Procom CDI "There is no cure for Celibacy. But we can treat the symptoms."

Very cool indeed!

Not enough to make me dip into the "Rebuild the Panhead" fund, but more than enough to start a new fund for that hottie!

I went with Super Griffin for the name.

PS: For those Triumph fans suffering from advanced Harley envy and looking to the Thunderbird for a champion, (don't add denial to injury); THIS is how you go head to head with Harley Davidson!

Yep! They were sort of the S&S of their day, weren't they?!

And J.A.P. engines were also used in many a pre-war Morgan three-wheeler.

And BTW....yep, that IS a very nice lookin' bike there alright!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The headlight looks a bit out of place; needs to be less-shiny.

I proposed "Cardinal" that works on a few levels...(kinda)..

Card- after the blokes who own the JAP name. Cardinal meaning 'of importance' and Cardinal Twin to sound like, well, you know!!!

The more I look at that bike the more I like it! I would definitely like to take a spin on one of those and even though it is a V-Twin I wouldn't mind having one sitting in my garage!
