Does anyone here have wrapped pipes on a bike? I saw the post on
ceramic pipes. Since I've always liked the rugged look of wrapped pipes,
I was wondering if anyone here had them I could see on an America.

I had mine wrapped for a while. The wrap looked like crap and it really did a number on the pipes. I wouldn't do it.

Hopefully whoever own's that honda knows those stickers that say Memphis, and Kenwood are only advertisment for "break in here". It really sucks when you lose $2k in car audio, and I didn't even have a billboard on the back glass like that.

ChuckyJ, I left them chrome because of the other parts on the bike are chrome and needed just a little bit everywhere...I have the front head light ring the tach ring and the speedo ring chrome...the forward controls are chrome and the rear bolts and lowering kit are chrome...

Cochran03, Its my honda...and I say let them try to get into my car with out getting shot ....I am a car audio installer and have been for the last 11 years....Its my daily driver so i decided to turn it into a billboard in hopes to put more money in my pocket...If some one is going to steal the equiptment they had better bring some tools...I have a wall with a single 15" memphis mojo... they might be able to steal the amp memphis 2500d if it they can get into the trunk but first they need to disable the alarm which his hooked to lights the trunk and two sirens one in the engine bay and one behind the rear bumper...even if they cut the battery lead i still have 2 more batteries in the car...one for alarm back up hidden in the dash and the other battery is a 1000 cca in the trunk which is also hooked in to the system to run the amp... I would almost like for them to try it.... i would have time to make coffee and load the weapons......oh and i fogot to mention i live down a dead end road and on top of a hill...

I was just noticing that the chain looks kind of loose and kinky. Reminds me of this girl i used to know.

Either way my man good luck with that. Hope it doesn't happen, but most crooks aren't going to even try to disable an alarm... they make good background filler around here.

By the way.. "That's a sweet wrap job on those headers.", Aaron said, swinging the subject back to the true topic.

I just found boot marks on my left header so I think wraping will happen someday plus I like the look.

Scotts were did you get the lowering kit.

street boogie.... they are no longer in buisness and the kit is very very rare... I think there is a thread in the customs section called "lowering the rear" people have drawn up plans and have built the brackets themselves...I posted up pictures of my actual brackets....I was supposed to have a friend make them for me...however he dropped the ball and never got them done

There is also the option of shorter shocks. Progressive makes them, but they're $$$. One guy used Harley shocks with slight modification to the eyelets. I'm planning on doing the same thing. Found a pair for $60. Our stocks are 12.5 eye to eye.

cochran03 lower shocks were not an option for me...I wanted to drop atleast 2-2.5" I worked with fast eddy and he tried to cross ref all kinds of stuff....my weight was the factor...Im a 275lb dude...I really had to go with HD so i went with the 412HD had to have them made with a black spring

I totally understand... with the 2-2.5" drop do you bottom out at all... is it a stiff ride or what do you think? I was just throwing out the other option available to chuckyj just for FYI. I was goin to do the lowering blocks too, but decided to go with shorter shocks.
