I did the freak kit from a stock airbox and it was a huge change for me. I wouldn't go back either. Of course I can't because I hacked the ever living s*** out of my airbox too

I posted before and said I would save the $ and get the carb brace and K&Ns-as long as you're handy with making a back mud guard or keep the back of your airbox like some people have done for that.

I agree the Triumph engineers must know what they're doing-but they have to meet a lot of regulations. And regulations are made for breaking
