This is partly true, you can get a 110 inch engine in any HD big twin as a dealer installed option. But, they also have a factory built 110 as a separate model in each of their lines. If memory serves me well, the dealer installed option is a credit/replace engine swap where they buy your unused 96 inch engine, sell you a 110 from the factory and charge you to bolt it in.

I wouldn't doubt that Triumph might do this as well if the big bore kit turns out to be popular enough to justify the expense.
