Were you looking at the actual US site. As far as I know, that is a UK option only. Now, I could be wrong, but as of the training class this week, unless he wasn't being clear, in the US it's a dealer install only.
It wouldn't be the first time that a special deal was set up for the UK by Triumph. I'm gonna make a call on this first chance I get during the day tomorrow to get an answer once and for all.
Trust me, I would love nothing more then to be able to order the bike with the kit installed at the factory. I don't know a tech out there that loves the idea of pulling an engine out of a brand new bike, and haveing to do tare down. It's too easy to damage the finish on the engine, even working on the stand.
