I liked the action, but as for the story...
My wife who grew up on Star Trek is still in shock and has not recovered yet. It's still a subject I can not bring up with out catching a lot of grief. Destroying Vulcan was a bit to much for me. Also folks... I'm sorry I just don't get the love Jones thing between Spock and Uhura. In fact it kind of creeps me out.
